Sarnecki Joins Children's


 
Bob Sarnecki

Bob Sarnecki has joined Children's of Alabama as interim chief information officer, managing all the hospital's information technology functions. Sarnecki reports to Mike Warren, president and chief executive officer of Children's.

Sarnecki most recently served as general manager of professional services for ClearDATA Healthcare Cloud Computing in Tempe, Arizona. There, he was responsible for security risk assessments, security remediation, cloud services and web development. Previously, Sarnecki was chief information officer of Phoenix Children's Hospital, Kingman Regional Medical Center and Ernst & Young management consulting.

Sarnecki earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Mount Saint Mary's College and a master's degree in healthcare information technology from The Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School.
